SURVEYING
An Ecofit surveying team will visit your home to record all the necessary measurements required for the project to progress. They’ll also clarify any details with you and, if required, discuss any changes.
If planning permission is needed for the build, they’ll also gather all the details for the application.
PLANNING & BUILDING REGS
Your Ecofit surveyor will complete your application and submit it, alongside all the necessary drawings, to your local council.
Timescales can vary depending on workload and the relevant authority, but you should allow you should allow 8-10 weeks for Full Householder Planning Permission or 6-8 weeks for NCS approval.
SCHEDULE OF WORKS
We will compile a schedule of works and issues these to you, so you know what will be happening and when. We’ll coordinate all relevant tradespeople on your behalf.
Ahead of time, we’ll also discuss with you about access to and from your property and power and water requirements.
BUILDING & INSTALLATION
Before any building work begins, your team will double check brick matching with you. Once the foundations and building works are complete, your frames and/or roof will be installed.
Remember, we’ll manage all the various people involved with your project from start to finish, so you can relax safe in the knowledge that we’re taking care of it all.
FINISHING
Once your project is fully installed, we’ll ensure that you’re fully satisfied with the work and rectify any final snagging.
Then, you’re free to enjoy your brand new living space.
